Membership

FEE is an international umbrella organisation with one national member organisation per country representing FEE and in charge of implementing FEE programmes nationally.

National member organisations have either full or associate membership status depending on how long they have been with FEE and the number of FEE programmes they support.

Besides full or associate national FEE member organisations, FEE has international and additional national affiliate member organisations/institutions and some individuals who are honorary members.

This page provides an overview of the main FEE members. For detailed information on membership you can download the FEE Statutes and FEE Rules of Procedure.

Associate members

When an organisation joins FEE it becomes an associate member. In addition to representing FEE on a national level and implementing national FEE programs, associate members are expected to be an active participant in the FEE General Assembly (33-85% of the travel costs will be reimbursed depending on the GDP of the country) and also an active participant in the activities of the FEE programme that is being implemented.

An appointed mentor from the FEE Executive Board supports the organisation with membership tasks visits the associate member’s country annually.

The annual membership fee for associate members amounts to 2400€, €3000 or €3350 (depending on the GDP of the country) and is billed on the month after approved membership.

Associate member organisations are reviewed annually.

Full members

An associate member must become a full member within 3-5 years by implementing at least two FEE programmes. Full membership enables the organisation to achieve full voting rights at the FEE General Assembly and stand for election for the FEE Executive Board. It is naturally expected that full members actively participating in the FEE General Assembly and the implemented FEE programmes.

The annual membership fee for full members amounts to €3500, €4350 or €4825 (depending on the GDP of the country).

Full member organisations are reviewed every four years in connection with the FEE General Assembly.

Affiliate member

Organisations in countries with an existing FEE full or associate member organisation and international organisations/institutions can apply to become an affiliate member of FEE.

The annual membership fee for affiliate members is €315. In some cases, however, this fee is the same as the associate membership fee.

Affiliate members are reviewed at a minimum every four years.
